Licancabur is located in southwestern Bolivia, in the heart of the Sud Lipez desert, right on the border with Chile. It is this perfect conical peak that dominates Laguna Verde. The starting point for the ascent is on the Bolivian side, from the shelters near Laguna Blanca, at an altitude of approximately 4,300 m. It is accessible by 4×4 as part of a tour or private expedition. <\/p>\n\n
